He gives a few secrets to his personal success, along with the success he brought to OemaTakorr. This project between OemaTakorr and KreativSpace.com was a great combination.
Eva and Franco Mattes are Brooklyn Based artists behind the infamous website 0100101110101101.ORG. 0100101110101101.ORG is primarily concerned with what the team call “media actionism”, although the blurring of boundaries between fiction and reality is also a major interest.
In 2003 they created a hoax called Nikeground, an apparent move by the sportswear giant to rename some of the world’s most important thoroughfares: “Nike is introducing its legendary brand into squares, streets, parks and
boulevards: Nikesquare, Nikestreet, Piazzanike, Plazanike or Nikestrasse will appear in major world capitals over the coming years”. Nike quickly threaten legal action citing trademark infringement.
In response the Mattes are quoted as saying “Nike invades our lives with products and ads but then forbid us to use them creatively”. As it quickly became apparent that press and public tended to agree, Nike eventually backed down, allowing the performance to continue.
These guys definitely portray the artistic and individuality of Oema Takorr.
Have you experienced the lifestyle yet? If you haven’t, you obviously should.
At least that’s what Obvious Magazine is saying about our 2011 collection.
“If you’re on top of the trends as much as we are, you know that metallic, black and white stripes and purple are the hit for Spring/Summer.We’ve located a t-shirt brand by the name of Oema Takorr that hit the nail right on the head.”
We thought it was obvious too. Thanks Jerris for noticing it too…

R&B star Jeremih made every woman around the world go crazy with his video for “Break Ups To Make Ups”. He’s known to have created a few controversial pieces here and there. Who cares when those creations are sold for millions of dollars right?
Although his most recognized work would be the colorful balloon animals made of steel with a mirror finish, he’s had some interesting paintings and sculptures. Some critics say that he’s into art for the wrong reasons, such as money and fame. Other critics say he’s a pioneer to the artworld. Is he our modern day Andy Warhol?
If you’re not familiar with Jeff Koons work, some of these images may ring a bell.
Men are wearing scarves more now than ever before.
Whether you go with wool, cashmere, silk, etc. scarves add personality to your appeal, not to mention they really do keep your neck warm during cold times…it’s not a myth.
If you’re new to this, start off with something subtle and earth toned.
If you are confident enough and feel that you may be able to withstand some risk, give it some color.

Scott Disick is seen wearing a polka dot silk scarf for a clean debonair look.
Late last year, Atlanta teen-group the Rich Kidz partnered with fashion label OemaTakorr and released a music video for their HOT single “I See You” from their mixtape “Straight Like That”.
Oema Takorr provided the wardrobe from its 2010 line in the Brandon Wiggins directed video. The response to the video has been phenomenal from a range of age groups. To date, the video has received hundreds of thousands of views on several music and fashion blogs.
Blending an unorthodox style of singing with a hint of witty-rap, these talented young men have created a cult-like following for their music and fashion-sense.
“We partnered with Oema Takorr because they have unique designs and we have unique music” says the Rich Kidz. “Few brands can speak to our fans and OT is one. Look out for our new video “Round and Round” dropping soon that features more OT designs”.
